So Gavin Newsom had himself a little get-together yesterday, and boy, is that guy unhinged.

At Indy Spanglish on Twitter in for Casey today. Kevin is here. So Gavin Newsom is the governor

of California. He held a big rally, I guess you'd call it yesterday, of supporters, in which he said he is going

to push California to redraw their maps in response to Texas.

And Jerry, I guess we'll start with this.

This is exactly what we said was going to happen.

It's tit for tat.

And quite honestly, and we'll get to kind of the nuts and bolts of this here in a second,

if Newsom gets his way, California will probably end up gaining more,

the Democrats end up gaining more seats out of California and they were going to lose out of Texas.

Yeah.

This is just one hand to the other.

Now, California has an independent commission whose job it is to draw congressional districts.

They supposedly are they bipartisan?

Well, I'm sure to some extent, but is anybody really... Okay, let's talk about that for a second. Because you call it independent, but if you're not bipartisan, then what's it matter? Yeah, but is anybody really not partisan on anything? Like I always hear it's non-partisan. But what does that even mean? Non-partisan? I don't think that exists.
