This is fascinating that Trump was barking at Josh Holly about this bill that would basically ban. Let's call it what it is. It's insider trading. It is legalized insider trading in the U.S. government. And Trump just, I mean, he, I don't know. I mean,

you know, you want to think the best of everybody and you want to think that they're all above

board, but then Trump does something like this and you're like, what possible reason could there

be for you to be mad about putting safeguards around how these elected officials who have abused

this system for years and years and years make financial deals with insider information.

So Josh Holly, he introduced the Pelosi Act, preventing elected leaders from owning securities and investments.

Yeah, and I get that they're trying to be cute, but the Republicans all do this too.

It's like, it's funny because Pelosi was the Speaker of the House and she blocked it from,

you know, becoming a thing and Biden was supposedly going to sign it and blah, blah, blah.

But let's not lose on the side of the fact that the republicans do

much of the exact same stuff which is they get information that other people don't have access

to before anybody else gets it you or i do that and act on it. It's insider trading. We go to federal prison.

And yet these people do it and it's totally above board. They do it or they have their

spouse do it. Right. You just look the other way. So the bill is going to ban members of Congress

from trading or holding individual stocks and Holly agreed to expand it to include the president or the vice president

in order to gain some support.

And Trump didn't like that.

There was some pushback from that.

And that's ridiculous.

They cited Article 2.

Yeah, this is ridiculous.

If you're an elected person in the federal government, you shouldn't, and you're getting paid, you know, whatever they make now,
