good morning it is Wednesday July 31st five minutes after 11 with

Kendall and Casey on 93 w ib cC. We're just going to call this segment what you're going to be seeing

more of and what you will be seeing less of. And we're going to start with this story

about the army.

Apparently they're having a little bit of buyer's remorse.

They had an 11 million dollar marketing deal with the United Football League and also Duane the Rock Johnson and according to reports

from the Army it may have actually hurt their recruiting efforts.

Okay so this is interesting for a couple of reasons.

One, the military has done this throughout the years with a variety of different,

whether I think they had a thing with auto racing for a while, maybe still do, they had a thing with auto racing for a while maybe still do they had a thing

with obviously the National Football League for a long time where they look for various

especially in the sporting world areas where they can kind of tap into hey it's

young men that are our predominant audience and so let's kind of advertise

with that sports entity and come with creative ways to market our product.

And the United Football League is this new football league, duh Rob.

Yeah, it's a start.
