You know, when I was a kid, there was a great documentary that came out on public broadcasting about it was called

Baseball by Ken Burns and it came out right as the base it just I think it just conveniently

worked out this way it came out right as the baseball players went on strike in 1994. And it was a

hugely popular documentary because there was no baseball for people to watch. And it was like

this wonderful, beautiful game that has meant so much to our nation. And now these greedy owners and

players have taken away from us. And let's go back in time and relive what this game has meant.

And it's like, I think when it came out on VHS, it was like a 10, 11 part. I mean, this is massive. Do you remember this? Ken Burns, so it took a while. Yeah. Do you know what I'm talking about? I do. Yeah. Okay. And in, so it just basically traces the history of baseball from its inception in the, you know,

And in the documentary, there is a woman by the name of Doris Kearns Goodwin.

And she's a famous, I think, presidential historian.

And a massive, from Boston, massive Boston Red Sox fan.

And they're talking about 1986 World Series where the Boston Red Sox, who had not won a

World Series since 1918 are up in game six. They win. They're the champions. They get down to the last out. They can't get the last guy out. It's a comedy of errors against the New York Mets. It culminates in the Bill Buckner ground ball where the ball goes through his legs. The Mets win the game. And in history, you think of that as game seven in the World Series is over. What people don't realize is that was game six.
