This is a fascinating article from Indiana Insight about the IEDC, about Elevate, about where our money's going,

and about what it appears to be just rotten, rotten apple, the entire IEDC, because Elevate is so involved with us to its core.

I mean, I think if we get to the bottom of what's going on with the Indian Economic Development Corporation and where the money's gone and how it's gone and how it's been used, it'll end up being one of the biggest stories in the history of the state, the amount of money

that has been used, not just unwisely. And I don't want to say illegally, because I don't know,

we'll see what the audit actually shows. But this report from Indiana Insight shows millions

and millions of dollars may have been improperly spent, and it should be alarming to

every single citizen. So elevate ventures is at the core of this, and they build themselves

as quote, the most active venture capital investor in the Great Lakes region and one of the most

active globally, as well as one of the most successful public

private partnerships in the United States. And they're at the core of this IEDC controversy

because a lot of money's gone out. We don't know where a lot of it went, what the results were

for the money. And according to this report from Indiana Insight,

it's not good from what they've been able to put together thus far.

So Elevate Ventures is a private nonprofit formed with public funds.

They're a key player.

They're under scrutiny, as you mentioned.

They receive $6 million a year from the state.
