Good morning it is Monday may 20th it is five minutes after 11. You're listening to Kendall and Casey on 93 W. I. B.C. So over the weekend, Donald Trump got an endorsement. One that he was expecting to get and one that it really

shouldn't surprise anybody it was the National Rifle Association

endorsing him he of course was speaking at their annual convention in Dallas on Saturday.

During his speech he gave about a two hour speech and during the speech he was ripping

on Biden, he was ripping on RFK, but he also said that he needs every gun owner to go and vote.

He wants a landslide.

Yeah, okay. So first of all, is the NRA still a thing?

I mean, like I know they're physically obviously still a thing but they've

had so many problems over the past several years many of them brought on by themselves

it would appear like this is there still some great, hey, the NRA is endorsed so and so?

And now they're, because it used to be like if you had an NRA backing, especially in a Republican

primary or whatever, you were a slam dunk, is that even a, is it a a I would say about all of these speeches I'm hearing from Trump. It's certainly what we heard from

Biden over the weekend. Nobody's running on anything. Nobody's telling you what they're going to do

or how they're going to do it.

And you've seen that now trickle down to like our governor's race here.
