And I have no reason to doubt that this is true because this guy is an expert on this stuff.

So remember last hour, we were talking about my little adventure to the state house yesterday

with the angry redshirted teachers.

And I asked if they take PTO days or if they get vacation days or if they're paid while they're there.

Well, I mean, they're obviously leaving their jobs. So just naturally, I'd assume,

okay, they're taking an organized day off. And I said, well, that's crap anyway, because

you're disrupting the children. You're disrupting the parents. You're using your position

of influence as a public servant to try to get more money for yourself. I mean, that's what they were doing.

And that's crap. And that's why, like that Bill Andrew Ireland filed state representative from

Indianapolis that he said he's going to bring back next year, which says, if you leave, if you do these

organized political rallies, you're out of state money. We're not paying for this anymore.

And I naively thought, well, okay, they have these days off. They do these organized days off. Our buddy Ben Orr, who is on the school board in

Hamilton, Southeastern. So he has a knowledge, right, of how the school stuff works. He wrote me this on

Twitter. He said, yes, ordinarily, any staff member would have to take a flex day to attend a protest. However, if the school is closed, this is not necessary.

IPS, Pike, and a few others closed so the teachers could attend the protest fully paid without use of PTO.

Oh, but didn't they close the school because they knew there weren't going to be enough teachers there?

Right, but apparently by them closed.
