Good morning. It is Tuesday, March 7th. It is six minutes after 11. It's Kendall and Casey on 93 WIBC. Let's talk about what's going on with Norfolk Southern.

0:11.0

They had another trainedorama this time in Springfield, Ohio. It was the second one in a month, although this one did not involve any hazardous materials.

0:21.0

And the agency that was there asked residents to stay within a thousand feet of the derailment in shelter in place, although they did not issue any formal evacuation orders.

0:33.0

And at this point, the shelter in place order has been lifted. But when we talk about East Palestine, Ohio, the president still has not been there.

0:44.0

And the White House press secretary says, no plans to go.

0:49.0

It isn't an amazing right that you have a tragedy which has garnered national interest. And now for basically a month, the president of the United States refuses to go to the site. But it comes back to he did the same thing for 50 years with the border and he got away with it.

1:13.0

And so politicians, I mean, politicians are the lowest, the lowest thing in our society. And I'm just telling you, having been around these people for as long as I have, they are the lowest, not every single one, but the overwhelming majority are the lowest amongst us.

1:32.0

You mentioned Biden going to the border and it almost seemed like he put that off and he waited and he just consternated about it until really couldn't anymore.

1:44.0

But he wasn't punished for it. And what I was trying to say was that these people, when you are the lowest amongst us, you don't actually care about the people.

1:53.0

You don't actually care about creating a better society. You care about your own power and your own power is how you make decisions. Will this affect my ability to have, to hang on to, to garner more of my own power.

2:08.0

And the problem when, when you see the Democrats push the election like they did this past fall, Biden looks then goes, why would I do anything?

2:18.0

I mean, I didn't, I didn't go to the border. You know, I didn't, I didn't care about that. Nobody, I mean, it is, we for some reason are unwilling oftentimes to punish people who do not care about us at all. And it just, it just amazes me.

2:34.0

Why, why, why would he? He doesn't have to. Exactly. He keeps winning. But why are we not? Why do we keep, this is the broader question, Casey. Why do we keep, we as a society, we as a collective. And I will say we because we just did it here.

2:49.0

In the case of Todd Young. Why do we keep electing the same people who we know? Don't care about us. Don't have our interest in heart.

3:02.0

All these people who voted for Todd Young, then as soon as he gets back in there and he's voting on, you know, the marriage thing and he's voting on spending the money again. And people are going, I can't believe he does. I'm done with him.

3:15.0

Well, you had the opportunity to be done with him. And you weren't done with them. And you got on your knees and you kissed the ring finger and you said more Republican bull crap, please Mr. Young. And Todd knows you're going to do it again no matter what you're saying now.

3:30.0

So it's the same thing with it's all parties. It's across the board. Why do we keep enabling and emboldening and electing people who we know do not care about us?

3:40.0

Well, you said it last hour when it comes to Todd Young, because what was the other option? Tom McDermott? Right.

3:48.0

Right. But the difference. But there's a difference Casey between none of the above and consenting to be governed. Your vote is the consent to be governed by that person.

4:03.0

And it's not like a plethora of people just left it blank. It's not like a people and this we talked about this. I said, look, if you don't like Sinniac and you couldn't vote for him because I mean, dude, that was the worst public performance I've ever seen by a politician.

4:17.0

Ever in that debate. Okay, but that still doesn't mean you have to consent or throw your support behind Todd. Leave it blank under vote him. Make him get under voted compared to everyone else.

4:28.0

Don't affirm him. And then he did the exact thing we told everybody was going to do if you affirm him and the people go, I'm beside myself. Why he's doing the exact same thing he's always done Biden is doing the exact same thing he's always done.
