And food at home prices rose 2.7% year over year.

That's according to the Consumer Price Index.

Potatoes saw the biggest increase at 3.7% followed by turkey and then chicken.

There were some price drops.

Who's having chicken for Thanksgiving?

Well, we'll get to that.

38% of people are choosing chicken over turkey this Thanksgiving

because the price of chicken increased less than the price of turkey.

Oh, it's an economics thing.

Correct.

It's not like we value having chicken for Thanksgiving.

They're just simply saying, hey, it's cheaper.

Thanks to Trump and the Republicans doing nothing to get the cost of food down, we can only afford the chicken.
