It's a big thing that got talked about over the weekend, and it

annoyed the crap out of me. But it's the Mamdani Trump sit down thing. That didn't annoy the crap

to me. It was just one little takeaway from that meeting. It seemed overly friendly. I'm

going to be honest. But Trump doesn't care. The thing I would say about President Trump,

as far as the public is concerned and how they react to the things, he just doesn't care. The thing I would say about President Trump, as far as the public is concerned

and how they react to the things, he just doesn't care about that stuff. He'll do whatever he thinks

is right for him. If he thinks that he's got Mamdani as someone who might actually listen now,

I might actually play ball with anything that the president might want to do to help New York

at some point,

then he'll be nice.

He'll be nice to anybody publicly if he gets what he wants behind closed doors,

which I don't know that that's actually going to happen with the Mamdani in New York. But I digress.

That's, I think, the end goal of having the chummy version of a press conference.

And Trump made a great point early on in saying there was more media that

day obsessed about that sit down than there is when, you know, people come in from other countries,

foreign leaders come in that are currently at war and dealing with whatever it is.
