Tim Scott announced he is suspending his 24 presidential

campaign. Surprised to everybody on Sunday night, maybe even himself as he

kind of watched the words come out of his mouth. Well, there really was an unprofessional way to do it,

if indeed, as the multiple outlets have reported,

the staff wasn't even aware.

I mean, typically, with something like that,

you would have a, even if you say I'm getting ready to go on

Trai Gotti, I'm going to do this tonight.

You would have a meeting with your senior staff members, have been behind you maybe even some phone calls to major donors saying hey look I'm giving this a go it's not working out. It's not going the way we want. You know my efforts are needed in the Senate. I'm gonna go ahead and pull the plug on this

presidential campaign to not give the people who worked for you a heads up pretty

unprofessional yeah and as you mentioned, the donors.

I mean, wouldn't it be at least professional

to pull those people aside and say,

hey, thank you for your contributions?

I just don't have the momentum at this point.

I don't see a path to victory so let's put our dollars behind candidate X

instead. Yeah again it comes back to when you think about the amount of money

it takes to run for president of the United States.

I mean, this is a colossal undertaking and unfortunately, we have reached a point in American

politics where it is essentially impossible to achieve, almost essentially
