Of course, we're spending a lot of time talking about that 127-page audit, which was conducted by FTI consulting in regards to the Indiana

Economic Development Corporation. And, you know, we've talked about it throughout the course of the day today, but the real sort of takeaway in all of this is that you, the taxpayer, hardworking, most cases, middle class

individual, had your liberty and freedom because that's what work is.

Somebody told me this years ago, and it's absolutely true.

Money is what you get for giving up your liberty and freedom. It's absolutely true.

Money is what you get for giving up your liberty and freedom.

Never forget that.

That's what your paycheck is.

Money is giving up your liberty and freedom because you give that up to go to work each day.

You give up your time to do as you would like to go earn that money. And so essentially, the government takes away. When they take taxes, they are taking your liberty and freedom. They're taking that from you. And look, a person who understands that there's a price to live in a decent society. We're way overpriced and society ain't all that decent. But I'm not a person who believes there should never be any sort of taxes, but let's face it, that's what they're doing.

They're taking your liberty and freedom.

And what this IEDC audit, not that we didn't know any of this to begin with, it's come out in various publications over time, is they took this money from you, your liberty and freedom,

and they used it in many cases for the

interest, both personal and professional, of the people who were running that operation,

whether it was trips to foreign countries, tickets to sporting events, hundreds of millions of dollars

going to groups and ideas that either directly or indirectly were benefiting many of the people

making the decisions.
