So wages have been a big point of contention in the ongoing UAW talks.

They initially wanted a 40% pay increase.

The union said the wage request is tied to the percentage increase in the CEO's compensation

over the last four years.

So he makes a bunch of money.

We should all make a bunch of money.

It's pretty much what they're saying.

Isn't it fascinating the disconnect by which so many of these people have as it relates

to what you're going to do to your future long term.

And what I mean by that is, and I heard Tony was talking with, has an economist named Matt

Will.

I think was the guy who was, this was a conversation with Matt Will's very, very, very

well-spoken local economist and Tony has him on quite a bit.
