And finally trending Indiana parks on Sunday admission to Indiana State Parks, forests and recreation areas will be free when entrants fees were normally charged.

So if you want to get out to a park, do it on Sunday when you don't have to pay.

So okay, I'll help me with this because I realize I am an anti-government right wing radical MAGA semi-fascist democracy hater.

So we'll need to bring the voice of reason in here. Kevin, you can pop in on this too because you're a world traveler and you're a little more moderate and less hateful to government and society in general that I am.

So the park, the state parks, we pay taxes to the state of Indiana, right? You and you and me and Kevin were every check.

Yes, I am a taxpayer, even though you got screwed and didn't get a tax refund, right, the UR taxpayer, they have no problem taking your money to just have a problem giving it back to you.

So we pay money to the state of Indiana, whatever it is, 3.23% income, whatever it is now, an addition to a bevy of other taxes that go to various Indiana government entities.

So we pay state taxes and then on top of that, we have to pay to get into the park that we paid for as tax payers.

Now, I've looked this up in the past and I don't believe that your taxes go to the DNR and DNR operates on a pay to play basis.

They make they make their money on people who visit the parks, but I guess this is my question is that so and so the only what revenue source that they have for the Indiana parks is people who go into the parks.

Yeah, I think we look that up well, then in that case, if not, if I'm incorrect on that, I know it's a very, very small amount.

If the question becomes how are they able to do it for free one day? Are they running such a profit that they can just access it?

Like, I mean, again, it's it's national public lands day on Saturday.

Oh, and then, sure, Sunday, they have the free day, they only do free days a couple times a year.

So is this like where you have to when you have to get your license to hunt and fish, which I believe, you got to pay for that.

Even though you have a constitutional right in Indiana to hunt and fish, you have to pay for your license to hunt and fish.

Right. Isn't that correct? You have a constitutional right to give the government money to do something. Okay, where is that the money that then goes to the parks.

Surely there are not enough people visiting the park on a daily basis and going, here's $5 to Kevin, you're a hiker. You do this stuff.
