So there's a new poll out and it is not good news for Trump.

Yeah, this is an Emerson College poll, and it says that his current approval rating is the lowest that it's ever been.

What's the number?

Hit a record low.

It's down to 45 percent, four point drops since January.

But that's still above the Gallup poll approval rating.

Well, right.

So, look, polling is, and we always say this, reputable polling.

And reputable is always in the eye of the beholder, right?

But reputable polling is but a snapshot of a moment in time.

And it's not an exact science. And even the polls, the same pollster can do the same poll one week after another and just get different results, right?

You're only you're working with who answers the phone or clicks the link or whatever, right?

But I think what you're seeing amongst all these polls, the snapshot in time, is that Trump is clearly well under the 50% threshold.

I think you're seeing that over and over and over again.

And like we went into the other day, I think there's a variety of things that go into it.

And I think at the top of the list is Trump really struggles to coalition build outside of his base of support.

And look, the country's becoming more and more polarized. So the kind of the base

number grows. There's fewer and fewer people that are really, quote, unquote, in the middle.

But I just think he really struggles outside of the people that are his base of support to grow

that because of the way he handles business

in terms of running the country and the presidency.

There was another poll. This was the Quinnipiac University poll, and it is even worse.
