So our old pal, the mayor of Lebanon, mouthy Matt Gentry.

Now this goes back to he had posted something about being against what the Republicans are proposing to do here in Indiana about the redistricting.

And he said, I'm not quoting him directly, but he said something like the redistricting is fine or great or whatever.

And I playfully responded and said, oh, crap, I agree with Gentry, right?

Yep.

And then he responded back something like...

You're not as different as you think you are.

Right. And so then I told the mayor of Lebanon, I said, if you renounce something

not effective, if you renounce the IEDC, the Indian Economic Development Corporation and the Leap District, which is that that innovation district in the city of Lebanon

that he oversees, that if you denounce both of those, you know, we can unite. We can come together

and I will throw us the finest pizza party that Chuck E. Cheese has ever seen. And then he started doubling down on how

great the Leap District is and how guests wonderful it is that millions upon millions of tax dollars

are taken from poor and middle class people and used for real estate deals that while probably

financially beneficial to his taxpayers in Lebanon really appear to be screwing the rest of the state. And we can't get any information. So I just said, I guess we can't have the pizza party. I was really looking forward to, you know, renting out a spot at the chucky cheese and all of us getting together. But I guess that's not going to happen. And thank you, have a nice day. Right. Now, for the record, we call him Mouthy Matt. Some people may not know this.

We assume many people are the longtime listeners. We call him Mouthey Matt because we had him on. This was a year or two ago, all the time runs together now with me. But we had a while ago. We had him on a year or two ago. And we had him on to talk about Leap. We clearly don't agree with this. We don't agree in shadow governments or quasi-government entities that can hide financial dealings.
