Kendall and Casey into the YouTube search bar. All right, Donald Trump. He's in Iowa. DeSantis was in Iowa. DeSantis spent a few days there. Then he went to New Hampshire. Now he's in South Carolina. Donald Trump in Iowa, doing a full day of campaign there. It's the second time that Trump has been there. I believe he was back. He was there back in March. And while he's been there, he's been taking lots of jabs at Ron DeSantis. He's been defending people that have been in prison because of January 6th.

And he's also making fun of Ron DeSantis's name. What's his vision for the country, though? What's his plan? Right. I mean, seriously, like what is he wants to have a fair, a great American fair in Iowa. Do know that. But we have no specifics. That is the one thing I will say about the DeSantis announcement on the spaces thing. Well, yes, it was kind of rough getting started. He sat there for well over an hour.

And answered questions and had in-depth conversation with Elon Musk with multiple other people. And you walked out of there. If you were willing to put the effort into listen to it, you have

intricate detail about what this guy plans to do on a bevy of issues. I have no idea on most things with Trump. How he's actually going to do it. Or what it, what I mean, really, even what his plan is.

Ron DeSantis got into the weeds on policy on that Twitter spaces thing much more than I ever expected that he would. Yeah.

So here's. So I just, I don't know. And look, I just maintain that this is a ridiculous way to pick nominees for major parties.

One of these people is going to be president. And the fact that Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina get this just outsized influence. Like, do our, does their tax money count more than ours? Do their votes?

You know, I mean, is there something I missed in the Constitution that grants superpowers to those three states, those three states? I mean, but they get everything is, you know, basically catered to these people for close to a year.

And as a resident of the citizen of this country and a resident of the state of Indiana, it's like, well, I guess I don't matter at all.

And you can't even say that it's the flyover states getting ignored because, well, it's Iowa. And many people would consider that one of the flyover states. It's a lot of

Eastern side of the country on the West Coast. Aren't you feeling totally neglected? Well, it is, and you know, it's just been that way forever. And they won't move off of it. You know, it is, it is, it is what it is. But it's just, I mean, I think this is ridiculous. When the Democrats do it, I think it's ridiculous. When the Republicans do it, look, we ought to just have,

you know, either we're going to do it, you know, so do you propose the idea of doing these equivalent of four super Tuesdays? And the pockets would rotate each election cycle. So let's say you had four, you divided the country into fours. You know, however you want to do it. You've got a West, you've got a, you know, Midwest, a Northeast and a Southeast. I'm just making things up here. And then those pockets would rotate every election cycle.

Based on who gets to go first. So every 16 years, you would know, hey, your little corner of the country is going to be the focus of the campaign. So, you know, if it's Midwest, maybe it is Iowa and Indiana and Michigan and Ohio and Kentucky and, and West

Wisconsin. Because otherwise, one time in my life, and it'll probably never happen again, Indiana actually meant something was 20, 2016, and it shouldn't, it shouldn't be that way. We're all citizens of this country. We should all, all of those of us who have the right to vote. We should matter the same. But, you know, we don't.

The big news is that it's Trump, DeSantis and Pence have spent a lot of time in Iowa and Nikki Haley's been what locked down in South Carolina. Is she gone to Iowa at all?

I believe the phrase you're looking for is irrelevant and running out of money. I think that's what you're looking for. Anyway, Trump, as you said, was in Iowa yesterday, he said, there's no way we lose Iowa, by the way.

Well, he lost, well, he lost Iowa last time. He said, there's no way he's losing at this time. He lost Iowa to Ted Cruz in 2016. And here is why I'm telling you, he does not do well in Iowa, which is Iowa is a very nuts and bolts on the ground, campaign and the way the caucus works. At least I'm giving you a very high level of a complex thing.

Being someone's second choice is very important in Iowa, because if you lose, like, let's say you're a vet, you're one of seven Vavec Ramaswamy supporters.

And you are out on the first ball. So everybody votes that you get in these little rooms, everybody votes, and they've changed it a little bit here after the disaster of 2020. So it's going to work a little different. But this is the kind of general thing.

You lose your guys out. You don't get a certain threshold. You didn't get 10% of the vote or whatever it is. Then you have to go to another camp. And these people who don't get the votes keep moving camps. And so it is important to play nice with the other people, because being someone's second choice can ultimately be incredibly beneficial for you, because that person has to move somewhere. Well, that involves a lot of grassroots.
