So there is a very, very, very important case in front of the Supreme Court today.

And we don't do a lot of legally, legal stuff to steal

a phrase from Hammer and Nigel, but I do think this is worth discussing because it's not just

the cases, the cases, plural in this case, but the intrigue about exactly what the court may

even consider and what they may rule on and how that ruling

may tell you how they're going to rule in the future. Did that make any sense what I just said?

Well, it did. So the Supreme Court, they're hearing arguments on the birthright citizenship policy.

And the case focuses on whether district court judges have the power to issue nationwide injunctions.

So there's really two things at play here. One is there is the Trump's ban of birthright

citizenship, which was struck down by multiple district court judges across the country.

And then the Trump administration asked for an expedited appeal to the Supreme

Court. They said, look, we got to know what we're going to do with this. And now there are really

two questions that are at play. They're both very important. One is the idea of birthright

citizenship itself. And it is utterly ridiculous to think that when the idea of birthright citizenship was implemented, everybody knows

it was implemented to protect slaves, to protect the rights and dignity of people who were
