All right, Nikki, so there was this bill that got hurt on the Senate side.

It made it out of committee, which would limit early

voting from basically 28 days down to about two weeks. There was a lot of pushback. Tell us about it.

Yeah, I mean, basically, I think a lot of voting advocates feel that our early voting, you know,

period, which is currently 28 days, so this would cut it in half is one of,

you know, a positive thing about our system. And they don't really understand why suddenly we

want to reduce it in half when people are taking advantage of it. So there's always the political

reason with things like this or the reason in this case i think it is somewhat political

but then there's the reason they give so what what reason did the lawmakers give the reason they give

is that some counties are having trouble staffing the early voting hours is that legit i'm sure for a couple of them there might be.
