You are listening to Kendall and Casey on 93 W-I. C. So yesterday a jury had been chosen in the

murder trial against Richard Allen. He's the man charged with the 2017

killings of Abby Williams and also Libby German. They were picked just before

3.30 p.m. but a couple of interesting things were revealed yesterday, some surprise revelations.

One being that the prosecution was asking that the defense not be able to present those

prior sketches that were released. They said that there was no way

they weren't relevant to identify Richard Allen.

Wait wait wait wait wait wait wait wait let's make sure everybody understands this.

So the police, the argument from the state is you can't submit the composite sketches because what we used for all these years to tell people who to look for in the Delphi case wasn't accurate.

Correct. They said they don't believe the witnesses could

identify the suspect based on those drawings. So it was good enough that we put

it out there, both of them, that looked nothing like each other, by the way.

The police are basically admitting, they're saying, the state's saying, we're too incompetent

to have gotten it right, don't use the thing that we put out there for all those years saying,
