Kendall and Casey on 93 WIBC. You want to talk about Senator Bob Menendez, this guy from New

Jersey. He's facing a new charge of acting as a foreign agent of Egypt. And this comes

less than a month after he was hit with federal charges for accepting luxurious bribes in exchange

for his political influence. So this guy, I mean, this is your government in a nutshell, right?

This guy years several years ago beat very serious corruption charges. I think he got a mistrial

and then they didn't go forward from there. So it's almost like OJ-esque in the sense of,

dude, you are the luckiest SOB alive because you were caught red handed and you scadoodled out of it.

But then just like OJ, if you were OJ Simpson and you murdered two people and got away with it,

wouldn't you just disappear into a forest somewhere and just spend your days on various golf courses

with your NFL pension that they couldn't take? Right. And be grateful that you got away with it.

And then OJ, of course, because he's a lunatic and can't help himself and ends up going to prison

because he apparently tried to rob a guy who had merchandise that he felt belonged to him.

Same thing here. It's like your menendez, you're by just some someone looking upon you fondly.

And I don't know why, but somebody was, you get out of this thing where you're pretty much caught

red handed doing it. And instead of just quietly disappearing to the back of the room and being,

you know, a US Senator and all the perks that come with that, now you just, you're like,

double down and make it worse. So him and his wife are, you know, accused of conspiring for this.

Prosecutors alleged that his bribes included cash, gold, home mortgage payments, luxury vehicles,

the whole get up. Now he's saying that this goes against his long record of standing up for human

rights and democracy in Egypt. And that piling on new charges does not make the allegations true.

And he was, I mean, he was leadership in the United States Senate. He was, yes, he was the
