Good morning, everybody. It is 907 on a Thursday morning, and I think they made a dire, dire mistake.

Kendall and Casey are out of the studio, and they accidentally left the doors unlocked, and myself,

Ethan Hatcher and my good friend Brad Klopfenstein, we walked through, and I guess we're doing the show.

Ethan, I feel like I'm in high school school and the parents left the cars in the garage and the

liquor cabinet unlocked.

And yeah, we're going to go out and see how far we can get without completely wrecking

this show.

Yeah, it's time to party.

And that's kind of the problem that we're going to start off the show with because there's

been a little bit too much party and going on in the Fountain Square District with the Fountain Square

Skid Row that has popped up right off there on Leonard Street.

And you know that the situation has gone completely out of control when James Briggs of the Indy Star apparently agrees with

the viewpoint and opinions being expressed in WIBC. Can you believe that, Brad? The world has come full

circle. And by the way, we are talking about illegal partying and not the illegal partying that

happens all along Virginia Avenue. Yes, absolutely. And I just wanted to read some excerpts from his article that he published in The Indy Star

because it was a great point that he raised in Fountain Square where he says the homeless

camp there reflects an abject failure of city policy.

It's good that Indianapolis is moving to shut it down, but the camp should not have persisted

the point that neighbors felt compelled to form a cleanup crew amid discoveries of needles and mutilated animal remains.

Indianapolis has set an impossibly high bar for what warrants shut down.

Well-intentioned empathy has veered into reckless enablement of dangerous behavior, especially drug use and predatory dealing.

A reasonable person would have concluded long ago that the Fountain Square camp was threatening the health and safety of people nearby.
