There's a small issue with crime in the city of Indianapolis. I've heard actually a lot about

that. And in fact, there was a press conference yesterday that the governor, Mike Braun, had,

along with Indiana State Police Superintendent Anthony Scott. And Governor Braun did not seem very

pleased throughout that press conference. Yeah, look, here's the problem, though.

So the big push now is, hey, the state has got to step in.

The governor has got to step in. The general assembly has got to step in.

These guys have got to do something about this because Hogset and Mears and the city

county council and basically the collective judicial system isn't doing their job.

And absolutely they're not.

I mean, there's some fight now over whether there technically have been fewer homicides.

Now they've thrown in the word because they changed the matrix, the metrics a few years ago.

Oh, it's criminal homicides, right?

Now they've done that and because whatever, the word solid it to death.

It doesn't matter whether the number is up. It doesn't matter

whether the number is technically down. It's year over year. Violence is totally out of control.

The numbers are unacceptable. The perception, and Abdul talked about this yesterday. And this is

the biggest problem. The perception is you should not come down here at nighttime.

Right.

And that cannot be happening.

The problem is it's easy for Braun to have a press conference and throw grenades at Mears and Hawkshead.

Doesn't mean they don't deserve it.

They totally do.
