Well, we were promised a broad ripple eight.

And we ended up with a broad ripple three.

You're talking about SB1.

So if you woke up this morning and you were watching your local TV station, you might have been told that SB1 passed the house.

That is incorrect.

Amendment 36 passed the house. And that was the amendment that Governor Mike Braun was very excited about.

Now, today, SB1 has its third reading in the House, and then if it passes today, then it goes to the Senate.

But that's just to show you how complicated and convoluted this bill is and your state government,

that a local TV newsleader can't even get this correct.

So the warning is, be careful where you get your news.

That is why you have Kendall and Casey.

All right. So our goal today,

we're going to over the phone lines in a little bit and let you vent. We'll try to answer some of your questions. We're going to give it to you straight. We're going to give you the good,

the bad, and the ugly. Because there's a little bit of all of this in what took place yesterday.

And that is our goal today.

We want you to be as informed as you possibly can be. We're obviously going to have opinions on some

of these things. But this is the worst of everything government. It's so convoluted that nobody

as of right now can even agree on exactly what it says. We'll get into that.

And local, like you're saying, even local TV stations can't get it right. They're misreporting.

Okay. So I want to start by by prefacing everything I'm about to say, because full disclosure,

I met with the governor for about an hour yesterday shortly before they announced this agreement that came out.
