Good morning. It is Monday, March 6th. It is six minutes after nine and you're listening

to Kendall and Casey on 93 WIBC. Shall we start the week off by talking about Donald Trump?

Sure. Why not? He topped the CPAC straw poll as the 24 GOP nomination. It was a wide

margin that he did at the conference on Saturday. 62% is what he got. And he was followed by

Rhonda Santis who came in second with 20% support. And then third place at 5% went to Perry Johnson.

Who? Exactly a businessman. Who? What? Now, I think at these these conventions and this is a

common thing, you can pay for people to attend. I don't know exactly how CPAC works. But generally,

if you buy a ticket or a ticket of a certain level or whatever, then that entitles you to vote

in the straw poll. So you will see this and you will see this in like congressional races

or Senate races. Hey, it's going to be and I'm totally just making this up. It's the Casiasco

County Republican bean supper and there's going to be a straw poll at the end. So if you're

if there's like a contested congressional race, the congressional campaign will buy tickets

for people to go. So the headline that in the Casiasco County newspaper is Fred Flintstone wins

GOP bean dinner straw poll. So then you send that out and go, we're clearly winning. Momentum is on

our side. You know, when you sent out your press release, your fundraiser email, whatever. So

I'm guessing Perry Cuomo. Is that his name? Very Johnson. He ran for governor and Michigan.

And lost. Yeah. Well, clearly. And that is the most political thing to do. I couldn't win the

local one. So no doubt everybody wants to be nasty. I'm guessing that that maybe was how it

was done. I don't know for sure. But that's sometimes you will certainly see, hey, we need a bus

load of Perry Cuomo fans and we'll buy your ticket to see back if you pledged to vote for Perry Cuomo.

The bean dinner. That sounds awful. Well, while he was there, Trump vowed to clean out the

Washington swamp faster and better than he did it last time. Okay. So here's the problem with
