Do you remember on the campaign trail Donald Trump was promising no tax on tips? Yeah, I remember. Stupid. Well, the White House has outlined their tax priorities, and that does include ending taxes on tips. It also includes ending taxes

on Social Security benefits, taxes on overtime pay, renewing the 2017 tax cut bill, adjusting

state and local tax caps, and also implementing tax cuts for goods made in America.

Okay, so just stick with me here, Casey.

This is a pretty in-depth and really groundbreaking concept.

And apparently, like, none of our lawmakers are elected people and the federal government understand this.

Why don't we just treat everyone equally?

Like, why are we picking jobs and going, your job is better than my job?

It's actually really insulting. It's really insulting that they've singled out these areas of employment,

and they just go, you get a better, you get a better break. So what? Now I've got to go back to bartending

in order to get the special tax break. I mean,

that's really insulting to a lot of, you know, if you're a plumber or you're an electrician or

you're some guy digging a ditch outside today or you're a roofer. Like, why is a bartender,

and I can say this because I've been a bartender, why is that job more valuable than your job?

And who's to say you can't go to your employer and say, hey, I need you to recategorize my pay?

Like, I worked one regular hour. The rest is all over time. And look, if we're going to do this

the Democrats, we do this to the Republicans. That's how it works around here. This is a legalized

vote buying scheme. That's exactly what it is. It's a legalized vote buying scheme to get people

in places like Nevada to continue to vote for the Republicans. That's all this is. And it's

really insulting to hardworking people that our government continues to single out individuals

and go, you're better than somebody else. No, you're not.
