Thrilled to be with you over some of the holidays. I'll actually also be in for Tony Katz on Friday, which will be fun. But I am here today. Kendall and Casey, I think Casey's probably doing the afternoon show again with the dude. So check that out too. A lot of stuff to get to. Let's get right to it. The first thing, the United States and

China, they had a nice phone call, according to the president of the United States, and also

Xi Jinping, I think, the leader of China. I'm not really sure if everything that they talk

about actually ever happens. I know soybeans is one of the biggest questions. China keeps telling

us they're going to buy a bunch of U.S. soybeans.

They usually do buy U.S. soybeans, and then they're not buying as many as we want them to.

But I did think this was interesting. Secretary Scott Besson said that the relationship, it's in a really good place.

And this is a significant announcement considering the trade war stuff that might have happened and the fact that Trump, President Trump, is much more willing than I think anyone else who sits in that office to push China before eventually maybe having some sort of agreement with them.

And that is good.

We get more things, or at least the offer of more things, the promise of more soybean purchasing,

what have you, because of the way in which Trump goes about dealing with China and then saying

nice things after the phone call. But here's a little bit of the Treasury Secretary talking about

this relationship. I think this was on CNBC last night. Becky, what I feel very good about is the relationship between the leaders, because

you know, when the leaders can have calls like this at the highest level, then bad, bad

things don't happen.

It was the strong relationship, President Trump showing leadership that sort of calm things down between the two countries.

And look, we're always going to be rivals. We're always going to be rivals.

We are.

That's natural. But are there things we can do together? Yes. We have the relationship in a good place.

President Trump is going to do a state visit to Beijing. She is going to come to the U.S. for state visit. He'll also be in the U.S.
