Good morning. It is Friday, November 11th today is Veterans Day. Happy Veterans Day, our veterans

who make countless sacrifices to protect our freedoms. We say thank you. It is seven minutes after

nine with Kendall and Casey on 93 WIBC and a federal judge in Texas yesterday ruled that President

Biden's plan to cancel hundreds of billions of dollars in student loan debt was on unlawful

and must be vacated. The U.S. District Judge Mark Pittman said the program was unconstitutional

and an exercise of Congress's legislative power. And he said, nope, can't do it.

So finally, it took forever, but finally, we at least have one federal judge who has ruled

that this thing that should be the most obvious thing in the history of ever. And by the way,

it's really scary that it took this long that a president to rule that a president cannot just

arbitrarily wipe out hundreds of billions of dollars of obligation to the United States taxpayer.

But better late than never, someone finally stepped up and said, you can't do this, which now gets

the ball rolling. And we can hopefully get this thing expedited up to the Supreme Court, which I

don't know. The fact that Amy Coney Barrett, not once, but twice ruled somebody didn't have

standing really worries me. But there is also another lawsuit out there in a, in front of an

appeals court, but yeah, from a various attorney general, so who knows likely they'll get those

moved into one. Well, when you have differing opinions from different courts, usually then that

expedites it to the Supreme Court. So we'll see what happens. But you know, at least finally,

somebody did something because this seems pretty obvious as Nancy Pelosi said that a

individual cannot just single-handedly wipe out hundreds of billions of dollars in taxpayer

obligations. The US Justice Department moved to appeal the ruling White House Press Secretary

Karin Jean-Pierre said in a statement the administration strongly disagreed with the decision.
