Good morning, it is Thursday, February 22nd, six minutes after nine, you're listening to Kendall and

Casey on 93 W IBC, so there is some cell phone outages across the country.

AT&T customers have been hit nationwide,

as well as some Verizon and T-Mobile users.

They're affected as well.

The outage just started popping up around 3.30 this morning.

54% of people saying they are having issues with their mobile phone service.

More than a third of customers are reporting being affected saying they have no signal at all and

only 8% of users saying that their mobile internet is down.

Okay so this appears to be a primarily AT&T issue and it was interesting

uh... NBC had the reporting on this on how this grew

that it got all the way up to 71,000 people before 8 a.m. Now don't know if that number's continued to grow.

Obviously they're reporting the numbers as they're coming in. It started about 4 a.m.

at 32,000. Now initially they had said well hey T-Mobile and Verizon are affected by this as well
