He went and got a shotgun, and when he came back, Ken was gone.

He looked around but couldn't find him, so he put his shotgun down, and all of a sudden, the second he did, he was shot in the thigh through the living room window.

And then I'm going to go back and tell you about this guy. So you'll hear a bulk of the crimes committed in the, you know, 50s. And we do not, if you're new here, we normally don't go back that far we don't do like old

timey crimes no way but um the the exciting part of this story happened in the 80s so I'm just

building it up okay that's so that's the structure you don't have to explain your art to us. I know. I don't need to explain my

Daylight by Harry McLean, The New York Times, and all that's interesting. The afternoon of July 10th, 1981, a woman named Alice Wood was getting ready to take her three kids to their dad's house in Skidmore, Missouri for a weekend visit.

Alice and their kid's dad, Ken Rex McElroy, hadn't been together in years, but they're on good terms.

And even though she had full custody, the kids loved going to their dad for the weekend.
