And I've got one of your books here called Ancient Origins of the Modern

Holiday and as Ken and I are sitting here we're in early December headed toward

Christmas and the stores are full the presents are everywhere and the old guy in

the red suit he's getting ready to come.

Or is he? And what about that green tree?

You know, there's a lot of debate.

And that's kind of why we're sitting here.

There's a lot of debate about the legitimacy of Christmas.

There's not a holiday season that rolls around that we don't think about, wait a minute, what's legal and what's not legal on Christmas?

Or is Christmas even a holiday that we should keep at all?

Now let's talk about that a little bit.

And I assume you address that.

Oh, yes.

Yeah, that's one of the major things.

The Ascenes, again, going back to the Dead Sea Scrolls, they teach that we're supposed to get together with our families on the solstices and the equinoxes to talk about prophecy, to talk about repentance and fellowship. And that was the time way back when. And it's funny because a lot of people today equate solstices and equinoxes not with the calendar but with paganism and so there's these people that we call them pan-babolians they believe everything is pagan everything goes back to nimrod a lot of things do but not everything so some people will talk for for instance, about Christmas is not the right date.

We know that.

That's irrelevant.
