Ina Vernikoff. Good morning. Thank you so much for having me. Great to have you on. Let's start with

this question. How has New York City gotten to the point of somebody who is an unabashed

democratic socialist announcing he's running for mayor and then getting a plurality of the vote?

I know this might come as a surprise, but it really shouldn't because this is a result of years of

bashing by white liberals on capitalism, the free market

economy, opportunity, the American dream, you know, and really university campuses like

Columbia have indoctrinated their students into believing that America is racist, that America is terrible,

that corporations are bad, that we must tax the rich. This is all a result of years of this,

Marxist indoctrination. And if you look at a lot of the people who voted for Mamdani, it's these

young kids from the TikTok

generations, generation that don't understand what it means to live in a communist or socialist

country like Venezuela or the Soviet Union. I'm actually from the Soviet Union and I have

as a child experienced this. My family has lived through this.

And these policies that he's trying to bring into New York City, they don't work.

It's a pipe dream.

It's a fantasy.

It's never going to work here in New York City.

And they're going to have to learn the hard way they end up electing this guy as mayor.
