He represents parts of Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, and Staten Island in the 64th Assembly District, and joins us live on the phone this morning.

I'm just pinch hitting, but it's nice to have you.

The MTA, let's start with that if we can it is out of control they wanted

to have this congestion pricing so they wouldn't have to raise their their fares for the subway

now they want to raise fares again why can't we have a forensic investigation looking into the

spending at the MTA?

You know, we absolutely should.

And I often say, you know, I spent almost a decade as a prosecutor.

And when you spend a decade as a prosecutor, you often hear about the five crime families

that are in New York City and operating in New York City.

I now call the MTA the sixth crime family of New York City, probably the worst of them,

because they do everything under the guise of legality.

Right.

So it is an endless money pit.

No one knows where the money is going.
