Hey guys welcome to episode 260 of the podcast with my guest Kelsey Scott.

I just want to say a couple of things before the beginning of the episode. We recorded this quite clearly from the episode

before the events of Sunday night in Las Vegas.

And, you know, I just felt like I wanted to acknowledge that it's so strange to

me that it's come to the point now where things like this seem to happen so frequently and I'm not saying anything new here.

I'm sure many people more qualified and more intelligent than I have said something similar in various outlets but

This feels so commonplace now that you feel like everything should just sort of stop and the world

should stand still in acknowledgement of what's happened and yet things just keep going and I'm still going to New York

Comic-Con and I'm still promoting the shows that I'm on and I'm still trying to entertain people by doing

live shows while I'm there and that's really a struggle it's just a confusing

strange time and I'm sure that's how you all feel as well.

So for those of you who follow me on social media and stuff,

you know that I'm not hugely political there.

And so I'm not... hugely political there.

And so I'm not saying a ton about what's going on, but rest of short, it's something that I think about every day,

most of the day, and I'm taking action locally and I encourage you to do the same.

I guess that's it.

Sorry, I just felt like I needed to opine there some I needed to do it

somewhere because I I don't know that I'm going to take to Twitter and and talk

about this stuff it's not my favorite medium to do that. Anyway, gosh, okay, thanks for bearing

with me on that. I feel so incredibly lucky to get to do what I do and to be connected to

listeners like you as part of that. It's just a huge bonus for me in my world,
