presence in your life. Well, if you listen often enough, you know that we really like to keep

it real here on this show and we're honest about hurts and heartbreaks and we invite God to meet us

in those places. You know, when I read scripture like He Restores My Soul or when Jesus said,

I came to give you life and life abundantly,

I believe those words to be true.

But I've learned, you know, that the road to wholeness and restoration is just not ever a straight one.

It's filled with twists and turns and trials and triumphs.

And it invites us to a place of what my guest today calls, Holy Vulnerability.

I love that.

Kelly Fabian joins me today to talk about her book, Holy Vulnerability, Spiritual Practices for the Broken, Ashamed, Anxious, and Afraid.

And Kelly says that Jesus didn't come for the spiritually elite.

Instead, he took great care to seek out the broken and body and mind.

So it is my prayer that by the time

this hour is over today, you have a really deep sense of Jesus' compassion, of his love,
