0:45.4	Adam Schaefter said the NFL had approved the use of alternate helmets beginning with the 2022

However, Philadelphia Inquirer reporter Rob Turner said that the deadline had passed for the Eagles to request the Kelly Green uniforms to be used in 2020, with the team submitting the black jerseys as their choice instead. The Eagles wore the Kelly Green jerseys in the 80s and the 90s and were synonymous with players such as Reggie White, Eric Allen, and Randall Cunningham.
