All right, so back in April, there's an eight-year-old girl from Cleveland. Her name is Madeline Hulik. And she heard her next-door neighbor singing and playing guitar on his back porch. And he just moved in, like, in the fall. you know how neighbors,

You just kind of waved, but you don't really know each other. But she really wanted him to play a song by Taylor Swift. I mean, come on, she's eight. Well, Anna is, you know, I'd do the same thing. In her 30s. and I, please, can you play it?

Every day, Anna's like,

JC, can you play it?

Yeah, she was too shy to ask.

So she asked her mom for a piece of paper from the computer, and she made a paper airplane and scribbled on it with all the cute little eight-year-old misspelled words, Hi, I heard you playing the guitar. I'm doing my homework, and I wanted to know if you can play Taylor Swift and threw it over the fence. That's cool. Well, he didn't see it. He's on his phone looking at lyrics and trying to play. So the dad opens the window and hollers out, hey, my daughter just threw something to you. Go look. And so he opened the note, the mom's videoing all of it. And he's like, I got it.

So he went and started playing love story. Great song. By Taylor Swift. A classic. And you can see Madeline sing, or Madeline, I don't know, Madeline, singing it from the window. Very cute, went viral. And yes, Taylor Swift saw it. Of course. Awesome. So her team actually reached out to the neighbor, who turns out he's 26-year-old Ethan Hayes.

He's a full-time musician.

And he says he's always, you know, playing in bars and stuff. And people always make requests. And, of course, somebody always requests Taylor Swift. So he keeps Love Story in his back pocket for emergencies. And that's why he kind of knew how to do that one. Anyway, she said, don't say anything that well her camp reached out to him and said don't say anything we just want to get your addresses and everything so

we're going to send y'all something really cool and it ended up being guitars oh man it's really sweet

and the one i didn't know the one he got i just saw the one that madeline got but it's like Taylor's on the floor, it's like a picture of her on the bottom of it. Anyway, Taylor also wrote a note. It said, Dearest Madeline, I just want to let you know that it made me so something. That words cut off. The mom kind of left that part off. So we're assuming it's either happy or proud or inside or something, enchanted, that you asked your neighbor to play my song for you. You brought the biggest smile to my face, and I'm sending you your own guitar in case you ever want to learn too and sending you my love, heart. Thanks again, Taylor. Isn't that the cute? I hope Madeline becomes a musician, and that's the guitar that she plays on, like, America's Got Talent.
