As the saying goes, things are looking up as we approach election day about five

days off now and suddenly that red wave we were thinking about in the spring and

then corporate media in the summer told us not to think about it all, not to expect

that red wave.

And now here in the fall with elections less than a week away, the corporate media and

university pollsters that have been all but predicting that the mark systems would

hold the house and the Senate are suddenly revising their polls and their

projections low and behold, they're running from those forecasts to now embrace

the prospect, the likely prospect that now not only will the Republicans win

back the house, but also regain this Senate and not by one seat, not two, but

three, perhaps four seats.

Was that a chair I heard go up?
