gratitude to you for choosing to put your attention here. I really do appreciate it. And if you're

listening at the time of its publication, then I feel compelled to take a moment to acknowledge the

intensity of the last week.

Public assassinations, mass protests around the world,

it just felt like a

insane week, an insane week of news.

And it was just sort of palpable

wherever you went and anybody you talked to,

it was sort of impossible to escape. Like even if you tried to put your phone down and tried not to tune into to, it was sort of impossible to escape.

Like even if you tried to put your phone down and tried not to like tune into it, it was

impossible.

And it's it's become difficult to know what is actually true.

Because you just can't trust what you're seeing and reading on the internet most of the time these days.

And it's so obvious the way all these powers that be are jostling for political advantage.

You just can't tell.

And I would also say that I don't think that we can really trust like what we read

in the New York Times.
