Joining us now on the show, a very special guest, live from Louisiana, where he's conducting his team's organized team activities right now, the head coach of the New Orleans Saints. Kellyn Moore with us on the show. Coach, welcome to you better. You bet how's it going at this point in the offseason? Oh, great. Thanks for having me. We're fired up. We're going through OTAs, and we've got a few more weeks to this. Oh, Absolutely love it. Season is almost here. You know, you guys will be starting training camp on July 29th. It feels like it's right around the corner. Now, we were talking a little off air and I had mentioned to you that I loved, even as a Knicks fan, that you were showing the team last year, footage of the Indiana Pacers and the playoffs from their runs of the NBA

finals where they went to Game 7 against the Thunder and the breakneck pace that they were

playing at. And you told me that today, meaning Wednesday, we're playing this on Thursday,

that you had a different type of presentation, basketball-wise, prepared for your players.

Tell us about it.

Yeah, so I love the NBA. I'm a huge basketball guy. I love the NBA.

And so we're always looking for different cross-sports references, different things.

And so last year we hit the NBA finals, kind of the path which each team took and kind of

the highlights that we can take from them. This week, obviously, we've been hitting the

spurs. And today was the Knicks. So it's a tough fun. We kind of dug into Jalen Brunson's career, just the underdog story and his relentlessness and the way he played his play style and then his leadership. And so it was a lot of fun. I think our team kind of split, you know, Spurs, Knicks, and it'll be fun to see.

What team did you grow up rooting for in the NBA? I was a state of Washington, guys. So I had the Sonics, and then we got, you know, he got ripped apart, you know. So we lost the Sonics. And since then, I've been a little bit nomad wherever I've been. You know, you kind of fall into the path with those teams.

So true or false, you were rooting pretty kind of fall into the path with those teams.

So true or false, you were rooting pretty hard for the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night to beat Oklahoma City. I'm still committed to the Spurs, yeah. I mean, I'm good with that. So there's still a little bit hesitancy on OKC. As much as I love those guys, I mean, trust me, those guys have an awesome program, and we get to learn a lot from those guys.

But, you know, I still have my Sonic fans.

Yeah, I mean, if I were a Son have an awesome program, and we get to learn a lot from those guys. But, you know, I still have my Sonic phase.

Yeah, I mean, if I were a Sonics fan, I would root for Oklahoma City to win zero games moving forward. So certainly understand where you're coming from there. So, look, we're playing this on a Thursday, but we're taping it on a Wednesday. and I said to you off air, a little serendipitous coach because, you know, a big question with us in the media this offseason has been, is Alvin Camara going to play for you guys this year? Is he going to retire? What's going to happen? He showed up today, meaning Wednesday, at your OTAs. So what's the latest on Alvin Camara and his status with you guys heading into the season? Obviously, you signed Travis A. Chan from the Jaguars at running back this off season. Yeah, it was great to see Alvin. You know, traditionally, he doesn't take this time of year, and it's usually down here during this OTA phase. Usually he's back training on his own. And so it was great to see him at the end of day. It was good to see him here. And obviously, you know, signing Travis and kind of working through that part of this thing. There's a little bit of process from the business side of it.

But I love Alvin. He's obviously not a lot to this organization. And, you know, it's good to get him back in the building and just kind of get him active and get us going in the right direction here. I think you know this question is coming and you probably answered it and you know how to answer it, obviously. do you think he's going to be part of your team this year
