Independence Day is come and gone, and somehow this 4th of July felt like it took two weeks long.

Being on a Tuesday was kind of a strange deal as the

weekend started early and went long and long and long where the keatsmans found themselves

outdoors so much that by the time Independence Day rolled around, we just kind of veged out and

binge watched some Yellowstone and watched some fireworks off the deck on Tuesday evening to wrap

up the week with a long weekend for the 4th of July, and we are back now with Kevin Keatsman

as issues. It's great to have you with us as you're probably not back in your regular routine.

A lot of folks back to work on this Wednesday, but a short week, indeed. A couple of little news and notes from

the holiday weekend if you didn't catch it, because a lot of folks check out, don't follow

things like they normally would, and that's okay. That's always a good thing. We had one little

nugget from the patron post over the weekend where we talked a lot about the history of Independence Day in the 4th of July

and focused on fireworks. The top 11 states for fireworks sales in America, the top 11,

the top 11 states for fireworks per capita were all Trump states in the last election.

I think we know exactly what that means.

We also have a tradition on the 4th of July, and that is the Nathan's hot dog eating contest.

Joey Chestnut wins for the 16th time.

He wins the mustard belt.

62 dogs and buns is well short of his record of 76.

He said, yeah, winning with 62, which was almost twice as

many as second place, winning with 62 has left room for beer, he said. I still have room left.
