Hey y'all, my new film I Love Boosters recently premiered at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas,

and I did a special episode of Baby This is Kiki Palmer with my castmates.

You may have seen online that during the taping, a person proposed to me and was eventually removed by security.

I was definitely surprised, but my castmates and I did our best to respond with empathy in the moment. I know it was unexpected and concerning for many people in the room and for those who have watched online since,

so I truly appreciate everyone who has reached out and shared love and support.

We live in a time where parasycial relationships are a very real part of being a public figure,

and it's important that kindness and respect exist alongside personal boundaries and safety.

I hope the emphasis of this episode stays on the conversations we're having about I Love Boosters because I'm so excited for y'all to see this new film.

What would be your biggest challenge in a job like this?

I shop here a lot. And I feel like I should have it all. I just want to take it out home, eat it up, and shoot it out my eyes.

I just feel like give it to me.

It's mine anyway.

That is such a good answer.

What's a booster? Somebody that steal clothes from a store and sell it a discount price.

It's like community service.

I call it triple M.
