Kirst Stama, is in Washington to meet with US President Donald Trump for their first White House talks.

The real business didn't begin until after we went on air when Trump and Stama met for a chat

in front of reporters. But before that, Stama was welcome to Washington with a reception at the

British embassy. Accompanied by a new British ambassador to the US Peter Mandelson,

Stammer rubbed shoulders with the who's who of the Washington political elite, including

senior politicians,

business leaders, government officials, and the super wealthy.

Addressing the glitzy embassy crowd, Stalma decided to stick to his strengths that we all know

and love him for. His sense of humour, he kicked things off with a joke.
