You know I've had this date circled for a long time so let's jump right into it

you have quite the that the. It was very impressive perusing your LinkedIn and giving you a little work on social media.

Apple intern, I mean, I thought I was hot shit being a Cincinnati Bengals intern and here you are an intern over at Apple in the, you know, in the late 80s, founding profit, your slope of hope stuff is amazing. What are some inflection points that occurred in your life that brought to you brought you to where you are now?

Well, there's a bunch of them. I mean, it's, I remember that you've probably seen the movie

Wall Street and Charlie Sheen's character, Bud Fox says, you know, Gordon Gekko's lobby,

how, I'm paraphrasing, but something like, uh, life comes down to just a few moments this is one of them and that is definitely true

The scary things you never really know when that moment is upon you

Like you

in the when I was in college, you know, being an Apple intern was like the tip-it-top of anything anything any college student could possibly get after they in the summertime.

And because I'd written a number of computer books already in my teen years,

the US Congress somehow found me and said our Office of Technology Assessment is going to be surveying the role of computers

in education and we'd like you to be our student representative which I thought was pretty cool and the exciting part

Yeah, and when I went I so you know I'm on this congressional committee this kid and

Also on the committee was a guy named Del Yoakum, who was the CEO of Apple, you know, basically the number two guy. And could not believe that good fortune

because I knew Apple up down sideways and essentially, you know, he got me an internship, licked he split and so that was that was just a happy circumstance but there have

definitely been some other big ones and that that that was sort of a preface to one that took place at Apple because during my internship and subsequent to that as a as a employee there they gave me the America online

contract now that sounds like a big deal at the time yeah America online

was this little startup that they just didn't want to deal with and if it's any
