Fox. Hey, this is Trey. Thank you for joining us for another Tuesdays with Trey. This is a treat for me. Our guest today, well, first of all, let me get the bad news out of the way first.

She's a lawyer, but that is about the only bad news

anyone could ever conjure up about Shannon Breen.

You know her as a host on Fox News. She's a legal expert. She's a Supreme Court expert. She's a successful author.

But you also know me, I like to start with the things that we may not know so with that welcome thank you Shannon for doing this it is a pleasure to be with you

All right tell us what it was like growing up as Shannon Brem, although your name was not

Shannon Brem growing up. Yeah. Yeah, I mean I grew up in Florida. We have very deep family routes there going back many generations. I miss it all winter long. So as we speak and I'm looking out the window at the snow, wish I was back there. But listen, like a lot of kids, I grew up my parents divorced when I was very there. But listen like a lot of kids I grew up my parents divorced when I was very

young so there was a lot of shuttling back and forth between them but my parents were

really good good people who made the decision they would never talk ill of each other in front of me.

So they remarried and wonderful stepparents that the four of them would get together and my dad and

stepdad called each other husband-in-laws.

So it was about as amicable as it could be. I mean, they made sure that my

childhood was as smooth as it could be. I grew up in a home of deep faith and went to Christian school K through 12 where my mom was a teacher and you know they make no money and do it for the love of it. It's ministry.

And then I went off to Liberty University and then off to law school back in Tallahassee where I grew up at Florida

State.

All right.

The household you described as happier than some of the ones I know where the parents actually do stay together.
