| 0:47.0 | Jude has spent the greater part of this letter urging his readers to contend for the |
| 1:00.5 | faith. That is what they need to be doing, he says, because of certain people who have |
| 1:07.5 | crept into their fellowships, crept in unannounced, unheralded, and yet doing, despite to the truth of the gospel. |
| 1:18.0 | He then goes on from about verse five all the way through to verse 19 to explain just why this is such a pressing problem. |
| 1:26.7 | Now having explained to them what it is and why it is so important, it is only now that he goes on to say what is the way in which we are going to be able to handle this predicament. |

| 2:16.5 | brought home by the Holy Spirit. However on the other side if such fearful individuals needed to be propped up, some who by nature find |
| 2:28.6 | themselves contentious need to be, if you like, settle down a little bit. Because there is something |
| 2:36.3 | about being introduced to the desire to deal with error, to contend for the faith that depending again on personality and |
| 2:45.4 | background it draws if you like both the best and the worst out of people. People who |
| 2:51.6 | by nature relish fights, people who just like arguing. |
| 2:58.1 | And so if you have that as you're sort of em-all, then you need to temper that. The great danger, probably the greater danger |
