And so Jesus said in Matthew chapter 24, verse 13, watch, therefore, for you neither know the day

nor the hour.

And you know, can you put the PowerPoint on the overhead?

When I read these words, keep watch, I knew what it said, but I didn't really know what it meant in terms of like, what do you do?

What do I as a believer, as a Christian, to watch, to keep watch?

You know, just look around all the time and keep watching like a nervous person.

So I didn't understand.

And as I began to research and pray, I realized what it is that we have to watch for and why we have to watch.

Because we live in a different time now than the disciples of Jesus.

They believed that it was time for Jesus to reign in rule, and the millennium wants to take place.

He would liberate them from the Roman rule, and the kingdom of God would physically come to Israel,

and Jesus and the 12 disciples would reign in rule for a thousand years,

and then the great judgment in heaven would go on keep watch

for you neither know the day nor the hour but we can know the season so jesus actually tells his

disciples what are the signs of the last days what are the signs of his coming he He said from the fig tree, learn its lesson.

Now, whenever you see the word fig tree from the words of Jesus, it refers to Israel.

And so when the branches become tender and put out leaves, summer is near. Duh. And when you see

all these things, what things? You know that the son of man is near at the very gates.

And I say to you, this generation that sees the fig tree blossom will take place.

What are the days we are living in?

What is the time we are living in?

I believe that the coming of jesus is very near
