spirit, his love of this country. He's done an amazing job. Building one of the most powerful

youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA. We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries,

destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country. That's why we are here.

Welcome, everybody. You guys had a great day, I'm sure, right? So thank you for your attention and your time.

I'm only going to talk for a couple minutes, then we'll do questions. I think that's the most fun.

The reason we wanted to do this and why we're doing the work here in Texas is I believe that Texas is special.

I'm not from here. I wasn't raised here. But I feel as if you're losing this state. And I think a lot of you would agree.

Harris County in particular where we are is not the same place that it was 10 years ago. A lot of liberal influences, a lot of bad ideas coming into this state. And if Texas falls, the country falls. It's that simple.

And so we need to ask ourselves the question, what makes Texas so special? Why is it that, you know, Texas has been one of the most prosperous states, one of the most freest states, and then the envy of the people that are fleeing California. Where do they want to go? They want to go to Texas. Well, first of all, I think that as Texans, you guys have an attitude that I hope doesn't go away.

It's an attitude of self-government, of self-sovereign. You know, I always, I get a kick out of it. I don't know if we have it here tonight. But you guys do. Oh, yeah, you do. You always do the Pledge of Allegiance. Then you do the Hale, Texas flag. and it's the only state to be its own sovereign territory before becoming a state.
