0:10.6	Keep telling yourself that, right? Which is one of the lovely sarcastic things that we get to
0:15.2	say to each other when we want to gently nudge someone or not so gently let them know that they're
0:20.1	sort of delusional, right? It's basically a way of saying whatever helps you sleep better at night.
0:28.7	Someone says, you know, while they're eating a donut, right? I'm going on a diet tomorrow,
0:32.7	right? It's like keep telling yourself that, right? Or the person who is just taking their kids'
0:38.2	sports just a little too seriously, like, right? No, no, no, no, you understand. My child is going
0:42.8	to be in the NBA. He's five foot three, so keep telling yourself that, you know?
0:51.2	One of these days, I'm going to that person who just is always talking about their good intentions,
0:55.9	this thing they're going to do. It's like keep telling yourself that, right?
0:59.4	John chapter eight, reading starting in verse 28, we find these words, it says,
1:05.0	Jesus then said to them, when you lift up the son of man, then you will know that I am he,
1:13.6	and that I do nothing of myself. But as my father taught me, I speak these things.
1:20.4	And he who sent me is with me. Father has not left me alone for I always do those things that
1:27.2	please him. As he spoke these words, many believed in him. Then Jesus said to those who believed him,
1:38.4	if you abide in my word, you are my disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth. And the truth
1:48.0	shall make you free. They answered him, we are Abraham's descendants and have never been
1:54.9	in bondage to anyone. How can you say you will be made free? Jesus answered them most assuredly.
2:07.2	I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever,
2:17.0	but a son abides forever. Therefore, if the son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.
2:28.0	Come on, let's just take a second and thank God for his word because there is nothing like the word of God.
