Wrapping up our week of inspiration at the Christian Science Daily Lift is Joy Booth.

She's a Christian science practitioner from Boston, Massachusetts.

My bedroom window looks out the back of our house, and I see other brownstones 180 degrees all around.

I see this view every day as I spend several hours working and looking out that window.

But all of a sudden, the other day,

I noticed a big building in the background of my neighborhood scene,

which I had never noticed before.

Crazy, because of course the building was there all along.

Has that ever happened to you?

I just hadn't allowed my view to expand and include it.

Mary Baker Eddy, the discoverer of Christian science, says in one of her writings,

Today we behold but the first faint view of a more spiritual Christianity

that embraces a deeper and broader philosophy

and a more rational and divine healing. So what is our part in all of this? I think we need to keep

looking. We need to be open to all that God is and all that he is revealing to us through the Christ's truth.

Mrs. Eddie describes Christ as the true idea, voicing good.

In a recent move across the country, I left my home, my family, my friends, my church, and perfect weather.

That was a pretty limited view.

But as I made the move in an effort to do what God was guiding me to do,

I trusted that as God's beloved spiritual creation, I'd always have all that I had before,
